We’re never going to forget your wedding day at Baddow Park House. After an incredibly tough start to 2021 for everyone your wedding day marked the start of our summer full of celebrating our lovely couples finally getting to say I do.

And what a beautiful first wedding back, full of emotion, beautifully thought out details but most of all a lot of love.

Baddow Park is forever going to be an absolute favourite venue of ours. The team are so lovely and they put their heart into everything they do. And everything is so well thought out, they really care about their couples and it shows. I especially loved how it felt like a little oasis away from the world, where the busy world stopped for a while as your friends and family gathered to celebrate you both.

You created a beautiful floral moment on Baddow Park’s dramatic staircase. Which was the perfect setting for an emotional first look between Becky and her Dad. Before your gorgeous intimate ceremony. Followed by the confetti throw! I’ll always love confetti – a moment full of joy as your loved ones shower you with love as you take your first steps into married life. It’s so beautifully significant and a wonderful tradition.

And then the sun shone. As you gathered with your guests on the sun terrace to catch up over sparkling glasses of pimms it felt like a magical moment of life in it’s fullness beginning again after such a long time of lockdowns and isolation.

For me there is no better table layout for a wedding breakfast than one long table. I think it never fails to look incredible, creating such an impact. This was especially in Baddow Park’s beautiful newly renovated orangery. But also I love the atmosphere it creates, bringing all your closest family and friends to one table to celebrate together.

Danny Mills on the piano while you shared an incredible meal (we loved getting to enjoy it too!) was a true delight. His ability to create such a beautiful atmosphere is second to none and it was a privilege to work alongside him.

And as the sun set behind the trees, your guests were soon switching seats and making the most of being able to finally catch up with one another after so long apart. It was really special to be a part of.

My favourite moment of the day came after your your speeches, you cut your cake, your first dance, and your sparklers, as you and all your guests trailed out to the fire pit. Where you shared s’mores and laughs and everyone was happy together. I’ll never forget the palpable love and joy.

You’re a really special couple. A true team who has each other’s backs. Your strength is not only in your love and respect for each other, but also your bond with your family and friends.

Thank you for having us as part of your wedding team, it was a pleasure and a privilege. Your film is so special to me, I love watching it and I am so grateful for the many messages telling me you’re watching it again. It means a lot that it brings so much joy to you. Keep being true to you, keep prioritising each other, and keep making me jealous with your stunning blue sky holidays I see over on Instagram, haha.
